Children can’t learn if they are cold, wet and hungry. So we work with schools and preschools around the country to deliver the essentials to children in need so they can get the best possible chance in life.

1 in 6 Kiwi kids live in poverty.

Too many Kiwi kids in need are missing out on learning because they're too hungry, tired or unwell to focus in class. Our Village is made up of caring Kiwis like you who want to change that. Their monthly donations help us to feed and clothe kids in over 1000 schools and childhood centres daily - so they can thrive and fulfill their potential.

No barriers for Gus.

Gus chose KidsCan after seeing the difference the breakfast club at his school made. “It makes me very sad that a lot of kids in New Zealand just don't have the bare necessities, and it showed me what a little bit of kindness can do. It’s a very simple, effective thing that we can do to help.”

Meridian Energy: A Decade of Good Deeds
